Sunday Stitching
I didn't have a lot of time for stitching yesterday as I went to the Nantwich Quilt Show & Fabric Sale with three of my sewing buddies. We had a great time and spent far too much money.
Mind you I have plenty of new fabric to have a play with.
I did manage to get a bit of Stitching done in the evening.
I'm going to get a another one done this evening hopefully.
I have spent last week making a hexagon heart for the front of a cushion. I am undecided what colour background to use for the cushion. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Well I had better go and finish my housework, as I am sneaking out again tonight to a sewing group with a few of my sewing buddies.
Have a great week sewing

Dear Melanie
ReplyDeleteOoh, a quilt show and fabric sale! No wonder you didn't have time for much stitching...has your bank balance recovered yet? Your projects are looking great though - it will be lovely to see their progress.
Best wishes
Ellie
It is looking quite depleted Ellie. X
DeleteI love the bunny cross stitch! I can't wait to see what you do with it...the hexie heart is so pretty, perhaps a soft duck egg or pale aqua colour to contrast it in the background? Hmmm, might have to photograph some choices to show us! Chrissie x
ReplyDeleteGood idea Chrissie watch this space. x
DeleteI love your bunny. What a sweet image.
ReplyDeleteCute little bunny and the heart looks great!
ReplyDeletethat is such a lovely bunny! I think I recognise it, is it a free pattern?
ReplyDeleteHow about a grey background or a very pale yellow for the heart?
