A Great Day

I hope everyone has had a productive week.
I have been rushing about for the last couple of weeks but today I got some me time. So it was off to the British Quilt and Stitch Village 2013 at Uttoxeter Racecourse. It is on for three days and me and my friend Sharron went today.

Sharron striking a pose!

We both had a really good time and when we got home we collapsed with a cuppa and some bickies.
I will try and post some photos of the quilts later on it the week .
Here is my small haul that returned home with me.

Have a good weekend.

Holiday

Easter Holiday on the Yorkshire Coast

We had a lovely time at Honeysuckle Farm near Hornsea. Lily was a bit nervous about feeding the animals at first but soon got over her fear. The scraggy goose in the photos took a dislike to me and hissed   at me and chased me down the field. It looks like butter wouldn't melt but it was so aggressive.

These were taken at Flamborough Head it was a lovely day. Lily hadn't been feeling too well but she really enjoyed the walk.

I really liked the scrabble tea towel and all the other bits and bobs that Kimberley sent me in her parcel .
I'm going to use the spotty mug in my sewing room with the heart coasters. Thank you Kimberley.

The beautiful basket that Mellie made for me in the Nautical Swap. It has pockets around the inside andwas filled with sewing bits. I love the anchor charms she has used around the edge. Thanks Mellie.

A Couple of Swaps

I know it has been quite a while since I last posted , but I have been away on holiday.
Before I went away I had two swaps to post out:
Nautical Swap  by House of Pinheiro.
I Was partnered with Mellie from Mellies Workroom
I made her a Beach Hut Table Topper / Wall Hanging and sent a Wooden Heart with an anchor on it.

The other swap was a Kitchen Swap By Kimberley at Creative Chaos
I was partnered with Kimberley the handmade item I made was an Oven Mitt, I also sent some Cow corn holders which I love and she nearly didn't get, a tea towel and some Thorntons Continental Chocolates.

I will post the photos of the gifts they sent as soon as I get chance to take them.
I have mountains of washing to do now I am back from Holiday! So I had better set to it :(
