Christmas Wall Hanging

I have joined in the Under The Christmas Tree linky at Clares Craftroom
you can show anything, christmasy,  gifts etc. Old or current projects.

As most of the things I am doing at the moment are for Swaps I posted this Wall Hanging. It was one of the first things I made as a Quilter so don't look too closely. But it has to be one of my favourites.

Birthday Bunting

It was Lily's 9th Birthday yesterday and she asked me to make her a cake, she gave me an idea what she wanted and 'Phew' she was happy with the outcome.

I also made her some bunting with her name on it and cupcakes at each end. Instead of using tape I joined them using Guipure Lace Daisy trim and a button in the centre of the joining daisies. It was left over from when I made her moses basket when she was born. So it was quite sentimental for me.

I really like the finished result. Although I couldn't get a very good photo of it.

Hope you all have a productive week . xxxxxxxxxx

Brrrrrrr

Can't we tell it is Autumn it is sooo cold first thing. I have given in and the heating is on. I am in definite need of a new dressing gown as the old was thrown away during the summer. Brrrrrr

I have been busy finishing the gifts for my Halloween Swap partner at the Blueberry Heart. So there are no pictures until they have arrived. I need to post it at the beginning of the week, so I will have to crack on.

I have been doing a few Christmassy bit's on bobs

Coasters

I made three of these cushions.

I'm having a stall at the Christmas Fayre at Kedleston Hall with a couple of my friends so I had better get stitching in earnest. I found a pattern of  Snow Pockets at Bunnyhill Designs. I love them I think they are soooooo cute

Happy Stitching xxxx

A Lovely Surprise

This morning I had this wonderful parcel arrive, not only did it have the bag I won over at The Patriotic Quilter but inside was the cutest Schnibbles Pattern I love it. Thank you so much JoAnne.

Last weekend was posting time for the Santa Sack Swap and here are Pauline's gifts all ready to be posted. My parcel from Pauline arrived on Tuesday and the stocking she made for me is now bulging.

The new Patchwork and Stitching group that I went to on Monday was brilliant . It is so good to meet up with new people that are interested in similar things. The class ran from 7pm until 10pm which I thought was quite a long time, but the evening flew by. Not that I got alot done but I met lots of lovely people with great projects on the go so lots of ideas.

Happy Sewing.....
