Happy Halloween.
It really is one of my favorite times of year and I tend to go a little overboard, much to my DH dismay but he just lets me get on with it.
I started this quilt top last year but didn't manage to get it finished in time for Halloween. So this year I pulled it out of the WIP drawer and got it finished. I'm really happy with how it looks finished.
I've been so busy doing secret Christmas sewing I haven't had time to do any Halloween projects which is not like me at all. Maybe after Christmas I'll get a couple done for next year fingers crossed.
The weather is absolutely dreadful and I was hoping to get my outdoor decorations up this morning but it's not looking like that's going to happen until a lot later this afternoon, if the weather forecast is anything to go by. We've got a Halloween party tomorrow so I won't really have time then. So lets hope for a let up in the rain.

ReplyDeleteI hope you got your decorations up in time Melanie! In Australia, some people poo-poo Halloween, some people love it... I like it for the way it brings out the kids who clearly love spending time together... well done on your finish, it looks great!
