Cheryll hosted her FNWF on Friday and as usual and lots of us joined in.
I had a choice of goodies to have with my cuppa as my DD held a Macmillan Coffee morning at her Nursery.
I was baking cakes alot of Thursday: Rocky Road, Red Velvet cupcakes, Double Chocolate cupcakes and Carrot and Orange traybake. They all sold but I did keep a Double Chocolate one ;)
This is what I stitched. It's the chart that Justine sent me last week.
Once I started I couldn't put it down. I eventually went to bed at 2am. I did get it finished but I'm not sure how I want to complete it.
I'll have a think about that over the next few days.
Have a good week whatever you're up to.

ReplyDeleteI love the stitchery, and the cakes look delicious!
ReplyDeleteYummy looking baking and the cross stitch is sweeter than sweet! Your stitches are lovely.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute sampler and the desserts look delicious!
ReplyDeleteI completely forgot FNWF :( Your cakes look scrumptious. Not sure I could see to stitch at 2am!! ... it looks great xx
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! Try as I might - and I've been stitching for years - I cant get the hang of linen. Do you have any tips?? I love the finer finish compared to aida but it drives me potty!! I'm sure I am missing something...!
ReplyDeleteThanks
BH x
Hi I used to have the exact same problem. I found that a magnifier was the only way to go. Since I've been using one I haven't had any problems at all. Now I rarely stitch on aida as I like the look of linen too. X
DeleteThanks Melanie, I'll try that. I'm going to a big crafty show in Glasgow next weekend so I'll pick up some supplies and give it another bash! Thanks for the tip! BH x
DeleteI've only just seen this! So glad you liked the chart. I stitched one myself recently so I hoped you would like it too.
