A Productive Week

I have had a very productive week so far. I think this may be due to the fact that there has only been Lily
and myself in the house all week.

My eldest has moved into his own apartment, my daughter has gone to the Peak District for week and my DH is working afternoons so it is very very quiet. I don't like it much I have to admit.

I made these two different rotary cutter cases but I can't decide which one I like the most, I do like the butterfly button on the green one though. I made them both as gifts to put away for Christmas. My gift basket is filling up quiet nicely now.

I also made these two cross stitches pin cushions.

I wanted to make a picnic rug for my holidays ( short notice, but that is me) and decided on a lighthouse themed one. I have finished all the blocks and am waiting on the postman for the border fabric I also can't decide on the sashing colour either. I had better hurry up though as we go in 19 days.

Well it is back to the sewing machine for me. I hope you all have a very productive week.xxx

  1. Very nice things completed! I know what you mean sometimes about a house being "too quiet." Of course, it can also be too noisy! Just put on an audiobook or some music and have fun!

  2. I love those rotary cutter cases, what a fab idea. I`m filling up my gifts box with handmade goodies too.
