All Finished

What a week! It was so hectic last week I didn't think I would manage to get these two blocks done.

I did, but there is another one due out tomorrow. I want to try to get the new one done early on in the month, so I can start a quilt for my sister's Birthday.

February Cosy Cabin Block

March Big Tree Block

I hope all you Mums had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday.
I was so spoiled with fabulous gifts and then they took me out for a lovely meal.

A huge thank you to my fantastic children.
I love you all.

Nearly There

The Cabin and Tree blocks that I was behind with are nearly done. Hoorah!
I just need to press them and sew the rows together.

I have been doing a lot of crocheting too. It keeps my hands busy as I've been catching up with Game Of Thrones before the new series starts.
I want to make a couple of cushion covers for the rather large cushions on my bed.
I made some crocheted bunting in the same colours last year so they should look nice.

Lily made us some lovely cupcakes. She asked me if she could make them all on her own. I said yes as long as she washed all her pots. She closed the kitchen door and these beauties were the end result. They tasted really yummy...

All In A Row

I have managed to get started on my free BOM from Quilt Doodle Designs I was a couple of months behind but I made a concerted effort this week to try and get caught up.

I have finished January's row of Snowmen

I have just got to get the Cabin

And the Tree blocks done now!

It's back to the cutting mat for me, I have made a start I need to keep the momentum up!

Two Finishes

As I forgot to post about the completed quilt for my Sister's MIL.
Here it is!

She loved it so that was a relief.

My sister has now decided she would like one too.
I don't think I will ever get get around to making myself one.

I've also miraculously managed to get my Cathedral Windows Halloween runner finished over the weekend.

I think it's just the right size for my Blanket Box. So that is where it will spend Halloween, but for now it can go in the Halloween Tub :(

I'm not quite sure how I managed not to get disturbed, but I will have a few more weekends like that one please :)

Have a great week and lets hope the sun keeps shining for a bit longer.

FNWF

I joined in the fun over at Cheryll's with lots more lovely ladies.
Why not pop over and have look what everyone was up to.

The project I chose to do was a Halloween Runner.
I do like using Cathedral Windows pattern as I can take it with me wherever I go.

Am I really early with a Spooky project or really late. I think I'm going for early. I've used natural calico for the background of the runner and Charm squares for the centres.

I'm liking the overall look and can't wait to finish it!
Hopefully this weekend.

Have a great weekend
