Halloween

Happy Halloween.

It really is one of my favorite times of year and I tend to go a little overboard, much to my DH dismay but he just lets me get on with it.

I started this quilt top last year but didn't manage to get it finished in time for Halloween. So this year I pulled it out of the WIP drawer and got it finished. I'm really happy with how it looks finished.

I've been so busy doing secret Christmas sewing I haven't had time to do any Halloween projects which is not like me at all. Maybe after Christmas I'll get a couple done for next year fingers crossed.
The weather is absolutely dreadful and I was hoping to get my outdoor decorations up this morning but it's not looking like that's going to happen until a lot later this afternoon, if the weather forecast is anything to go by. We've got a Halloween party tomorrow so I won't really have time then. So lets hope for a let up in the rain.

A catch up!

It's been a while since I last posted. But I can show a few of the things I've been making for swaps, now my partner has received them.
I made these Halloween/Autumn themed gifts for Loretta.
This is my stitched pieceit's from JCS Halloween Special called Trick or Treat, by Barb Cooley of Plum Pudding Needle Art.
Tina sent me these wonderful goodies. I love houses so this was right up my street.
The other goodies she sent were great I loved them all especially the peg note holders. They have come in very handy indeed.

I while ago I put my name down for a giveaway by Kimberley@Creative Chaos
I had forgotten all about it until these fabulous goodies were delivered this morning, just in time for my Halloween party next Saturday.
Tonight I'm going to try and get a few of my felt Christmas ornies finished while I watch a movie or two.

Have a great weekend.

FNWF

I was quite industrious on Friday night as I joined lots of wonderful ladies over at Cheryll's for a spot of crafting.
I managed to finish my Cocoa Cup row for a christmas SAL I started last year.
You never know I may even finish it this year, but I'm making no promises!
I also started my October cross stitch for The Christmas Ornie SAL. It's a Bent Creek design, I hope it grows on me as I stitch it because it's not one of my favorites at the moment.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
