Christmas in July

I joined in with Kim's Christmas in July Swap and these are the wonderful gifts I received from Maria. She's a new face in blog land so why not pop over and say hello to Dotty's Daughter
These are the fabulous gifts she sent.
Three hanging ornies.
She has truly spoiled me. There were lots of elves walking sticks which I am sure will not last long.
I love the Robin postcard and all the other lovely goodies.
Maria's daughter also made me these beautiful Angels
She even sent a parcel for Lily with fluffy pens and a Cupcake trinket box to make. She was so surprised to have a gift too.
Thank you so much Maria for the gifts and Kim for being a great Swap Mama.

Blakes Blanket

I'm knitting a baby blanket for a friend. I found the free pattern HERE and it's knitting up really quickly.
I was looking for a pale peach wool but I couldn't find the colour I wanted, they were all to bright, so I opted for lemon and I'm glad I did. It looks nice and fresh.
I'd like to welcome to my new followers. Thanks for popping into my world and giving your kind comments. My tardy blogging habits will hopefully be rectified now that the chaos of the last few weeks at junior school are over.

I have a week to myself as Lily is at Peak Camp 2015 at Chatsworth with Guides. It is so quiet without her around. But it sounds like they are having a whale of a time, even though it has been pouring with rain for the last couple of days! Rowan is off house sitting tomorrow so it will just be me and my DH until Saturday.

I'm hoping to make a large dent in my to do list, some is already ticked off so I may even have time for a bit of crafting before their return.

Well I'm off to bed before I nod off at the computer.

FNWF

It's that time of the month again when Cheryll hosts FNWF and we all get down to a little or alot of crafting.
I've been busy making bunting for the garden during the day, but in the evening I was finishing off the last bits for my Christmas In July swap which I'll blog about when my partner has received them.
I also got a lovely bouquet of flowers from my DH which was totally unexpected. I love the flowers in the teapot they look beautiful on the landing at the top of the stairs.

Why not pop over to Cheryll's and see what we all got up to.
