I hope you have all had a good weekend and got plenty of crafting done. I have joined two more swaps.
I have not got much more done as I have been visited by the dastardly BUG! Which seems to have landed on my chest and shows no sign of leaving GRRRRRR.

The Kitchen Swap at Creative Chaos which is open for sign up until the 8th March.

Also the International Craft Swap at House Of Pinheiro  this one is open for sign up until 3rd March.

They are both open Internationally. So why not pop over and sign yourself up.

I am looking forward to both of these swaps. I think I might be coming a little bit addicted to swaps. Haha !

I Love Hearts Swap

I just love hearts so this swap was perfect for me. The I Love Hearts Swap hosted by All4meggymoo .
I loved putting this swap together I was partnered with Christina from Apple Crisp.
She sent me a wonderful parcel full of goodies.
My camera is having a few issues at the moment so these were taken on my phone . I apologise for the poor quality.

In the parcel was lovely bag in my favourite colours, drawstring bag, twine and mini clothes pegs, egg ring in the shape of a heart, bell heart, Live laugh love hoop and a lavender heart. I loved them.

Here is what I sent for her. I hope she liked them.

Happy Valentines Day

Valentine Tree

Happy Valentines Day

I decided I was going to have an Easter Tree this year. So we went out last week looking for the perfect branch.
My DH found it quite amusing that I was going to all the trees and closely inspecting them, after a good half an hour of looking I found it.
He couldn't believe how happy a twig could make me. It doesn't take much these days.

Then yesterday I decided why don't I put some of my hearts onto it and use it as a Valentine Tree . So here it is in all its glory. I quite like the look of it but I may tweak it a little. But this is how it looks at the moment.

Pincushion Scrap Bag

I hope you have all had a very productive week .
I have been a busy bee this week I have had 2 swaps to wrap and post out and I wanted to make a Pincushion Scrap Bag to take with me when I go to class.
Here it is my scrap bag designed by my own fair hand. I have real problems following patterns . It isn't that I can't, it's that I'm a bit of a freestyler. So if I can design what I want myself I will.

My swap items should arrive at their destinations soon so I will be able to post the photos then.
I am also looking forward to receiving mine.

Gone With The Wind

I have decided to try and get my Gone With the Wind quilt top finished.
I am undecided what fabric to use for the borders though. I'm thinking a narrow orange border but not sure about the next one. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I've been busy finishing my swap items so hoping to post them soon.
I also want to get a thread catcher with pincushion made.

Initial Heart Swap Goodies

This morning Mr Postman came a knocking and in his bag he had a parcel for me. It was from my secret partner in Cheryll's Initial Heart Swap. Who I now know is Judith from Germany. Thank you so much they are lovely.

In the parcel was the cutest valentine postman which will be going on my valentine shelf next week. A card.
A marzipan chocolate heart which didn't last very long, but was super tasty. Mmmmm

And finally a beautiful cross-stitched heart with my initials on. I love it .

I posted my parcel out last week to my partner. When she receives it I will post the photos.
I hope you have all had a great weekend.
