Chick Easter Mat

I have been trying to get my Easter Mat finished  and I'm nearly there. Just got the beaks eyes and back to put on. I loved the free pattern from Cheryl at Country Quilts.

Next on the agenda is Indian Summer stitchery from Crabapple Hill. It's all drawn out and ready to go

A wonderful Mother's Day

Thank you to my three lovely children who spoiled me yesterday. I had a fantastic Sunday Lunch made for me with all the trimmings and lots of wonderful gifts.

I managed to get down to Quiltessential to get my Lynette Anderson fabrics, but as yet I haven't decided what to do with it, I might use it in The Adventures of Harrington and Hannah free BOM from The Raspberry Rabbits .

I have been busy doing my Friends With Benefits Swap item, also getting on with my Hop To It Table Runner. I'm really happy with how it looks just an awful lot of hand sewing of Suffolk Puffs to come.

It's Finished

The wall hanging is all finished Hand Quilted , I'm addicted I am not sure if this is a good thing or bad, but I have very sore fingers.
I had a lovely time on Thursday with Pat and Margaret, the coffee and cake went down a treat.
I am hoping to get down to my local Quilt shop Quiltessential In Cromford, Derbyshire to get myself some of Lynette Andersons Summertime Friends fabric this week. Not too sure what I am going to do with it, but I really like it, so it is a must purchase fabric.
I'm cracking on with my 'Friends With Benefits' swap project . But that is under wraps until the swap is complete. It's the first swap I have joined hopefully it will not be my last.
Happy Quilting.
