Finished at last.

I have been busy trying to get to grips with my UFO's and have managed to finish 2 over the past couple of weeks. Along with numerous Hexagons and Suffolk Puffs.
The Suffolk Puffs are for the Hop To It table runner in Simple Seasons by Kim Diehl.

The two projects I have finished this week are a Cathedral Window cushion and a Sewing Machine Mat with pin cushion and thread catcher designed by Roslyn Mirrington.

I was aiming to get this finished for a friends birthday at the beginning of the month but it is now going to be a christmas gift, at least I won't be rushing to get it finished on christmas eve.

Well I had better pack the machine away as I have a 10 day holiday in London to look forward to at the end of the week. I need to get organized as well as trace a stitchery to take with me. Well I need something to do on the train.

Back at last.

Hi I know I haven't posted for quite a while, but I have been sewing so I thought I would show you a few of my finished projects. These are a few of the Fabric Baskets from the tutorial on The Pink Penguin I varied the dimensions for different size ones. I think I will use them as stocking fillers.

I made this quilt for my 7 year old daughter Lily-Rose she was going through a 'Pink' phase at the time but since I have finished it she has moved onto Blue. Typical kids! She loves it though, and it gets pulled all around the house.

I used the free tradewinds pattern from Hoffman Fabrics.
